He is a recipient of numerous awards which include: Highest Innovation ranking award by American College of Cardiology, “S T Achar Endowment Award” for best paper at IAP, Kolkata in 2004 and Dr YR Reddy Gold Medal for best paper presentation at IAP conference in 1993.
